What young man wouldn't want to drift off to sleep under the benevolent gaze of Billie Eilish and Lana Del Ray's cleavage? The pictures are now at home in Dundee and hanging on Ewan's walls and once again, my work bench is clear.

Never mind that. What of the leak? That's the real question. Well, it's still leaking. Either the little tap that the man revealed yesterday doesn't work or it doesn't fully close because the underfloor heating is not isolated from the rest of the heating pipes. Another man (or perhaps the same man) is coming back on Monday to drain the system and install a proper tap, which will hopefully see the problem, if not solved at least removed and allow the central heating to work without me getting up at 6am to refill it and top it up periodically throughout the day.
