Solar on Snow

It's been a busy old day.  Mini neighbour M arrived early for the day, her school being closed and parents working.  She brought the knitting we started last week and I left her on with it whilst I slipped and slid down to the village for my torture fitness session.

Back home it was time for a cuppa and then M and I finished her fluffy snood, cast it off, sewed it up and left it to fluff up further under damp cloths.  M asked about other stitches so I put a simple pattern of practice stitches together and she happily set to - lovely to see.  I did a couple of jobs before making us lunch then it was time to go out for the bus up to the next village to collect my improved Meadowometer, which is just grand!

Back home again and I relaxed for the remainder of the afternoon until popping down to the fish n chip shop for us and neighbour M.

Meanwhile Tony had walked down to the park to meet with Event Director Chris to make a decision about tomorrow's Parkrun.  It took them just a few minutes to decide to cancel as the park is still much too icy and covered in compacted snow for it to be safe.  A lie in then!

The sun had already dipped when I remembered blipping, so it's our neighbour's solar light demonstrating we had plenty of sunshine today.  Still very cold though.
