Flower Friday

We still have snow.
Bitterly cold night again.
However a beautiful sunny day. The car was quicker defrosting.
We needed some more kindling, and fortunately they had plenty of bags at Home Bargains.
Pavements still treacherous.

Our garden is still quite deep in snow as it doesn’t get any sun at this time of year.
Growing on the wall, by the kitchen window, is the winter jasmine. Still flowering after several months.
So it kindly provided me with a blip for Flower Friday. Photo taken through the kitchen window.

Tonight is the opening ceremony of Bradford’s Year of Culture, in City Square.
I hope all goes well. Everyone will certainly have to wrap up against the cold. -4C forecast.
