Across the Bay

We never quite made it to Alcatraz but got some nice views from north end of the harbour. Instead, we hired bikes and cycled up to and over the Golden Gate bridge - surprisingly easy to do, but we discovered it must be one of the most popular "things to do" when you visit San Francisco - there were nearly a few bike accidents, but no-one fell off the bridge (that I know of).
