Moving Museum

Arrived in San Francisco on 4th July - an eclectic city where we were greeted by homeless & alcoholics on the street corner.
But the original trams are a treat, usually packed. We found the trick was to pile on last so you can hang off the running boards.
Being the 4th, there were the annual celebration fireworks at Fisherman's Wharf - which we watched from the top of this hill 6 miles away - it was still very impressive. They seemed to manage to create a Stars & Stripes in the sky for the finale.
