Onward - the Nova Scotia Tour
Visited Peggy's Cove - named after a young shipwrecked girl - according to legend, she was too young to remember her name, and given her name by villagers.
The area of the Cove is a 'must see' on the tourist trail, and certainly has a windswept beauty, with its smooth white/grey rocks (great for walking on) and its wonderful N S lighthouse. I just love the lighthouses.
There are many delightful inlets and harbours around St Margaret's Bay and Mahone Bay, which in many ways appeal to me more than the more obvious beauty of Peggy's Cove.
