Abandoned......

.... with absolutely no attempt to try and park it. No excuse accepted.
We assume it was a staff member at the health centre as it was in their car park and was there longer than we were (1/2hour +) .... Yes, we were there again!
That is where the 3 slightly abstract shots were taken. 
The other half dozen shots are of a bit of ice I hacked out of the pond with an axe ...... it is 2" thick - half of which was formed last night!

It was nippy while I was at the lathe this morning  with frost on the inside  or the front door and the window in the back door.
I was only in there long enough to make the box in the extra. I don't know what kind of wood it is (it has been in a box for many years and had no label on it) but the grain pattern is wonderful.

I am going to have to go out in the cold again this evening as I have had a request to collect food from M&S.
