Not A Blue Tit

My attempts at those shots failed (user error regarding the camera).

It was looking for a drink and seemed to find some up against one of the half sunken pots in the pond but I couldn't be sure ...... so I went out and broke the ice in 2 or 3 places. It obviously wasn't looking for the giant white caterpillar on the fence.

Took SWMBO down to the vampire  shortly after 08.30 ... and got really hacked off with the delivery driver bocking the entrance to the Health Centre car park despite there being an area behind the shop ... making it impossible for those with walking difficulties to be dropped off anywhere near the building and having to cope with the icy and uncleared pavements.
I left it to the others to remonstrate with him while I assisted SWMBO in.
It had been moved (a bit) so cars could pass when we came out shortly after.

I did a wee bit of turning when we got home and after coffee we went out again to try and get something in the sales using gift vouchers we had been sent from The Larder.
The vouchers are 'on-line' and when we went to the sales desk in M&S we were told they need the actual vouchers because their tills only work on 'chip and pin'.
I will need to see if other retailers say the same. If they do then The Larder have been conned out of their money.

Had a wander through the centre as SWMBO wanted a diary .... no such thing was to be had.

Stopped off at a supermarket to get a couple of things. What a nightmare that was! ... 2/3rds of their electronic checkouts were closed and the others seemed to have problems and the store was a blackhole as regards wi-fi.
After eventually managing to get everything scanned there was a security tag on  jumper and no sign of a staff member to remove it. After about 5 minutes I took it to the tobacco counter where the assistant removed it ... then he asked if it been paid for. Yes - but I didn't have the receipt in my possession. "Okay!" .....  and handed the jumper back. Very helpful - but not very efficient.

When I went out to put stuff in the bin later I took another shot of the moon.
One of these days I will get it right.
