It is still bitterly cold, and I haven’t set foot outside today, except for a wander up the garden, to get some bitterly cold fresh air!
The physios said to the group after the session yesterday at the hospital that we would be tired today, and not to do too much.
Well, I have to say they were right!
It has been an icy blue sky with lots of sunshine so far, which has been pouring into our front lounge.
I have spent a bit of time listening to “Wives and Daughters” by Elizabeth Gaskell on BBC Sounds. It is serialised.
An excellent social commentary on the class system of the time.
She also writes with acerbic wit!
