Orchids...

..To the Rescue

My day started at my neighbour Diane's house for a lovely morning coffee chat, but was then totally consumed by watching reports of the California wildfires on CNN. 

Unbelievable to see....It reminded me so much of what was described in the book Fire Weather that we had read for book club last year....ie: the connection between wildfires and climate change and how our traditional methods of fire fighting cannot contain the type of fires we now see...

Absolutely devastating...

My new orchids were an easy blip in time of need....
