Mop heads!

I'm very grateful for the photo opportunities offered by my local park. Most if the plants looked a bit bedraggled but these spectacular seed heads were keeping their shape. Anyone able to tell me what they are called? Think they may be clematis?
A light drizzle meant that the park was quiet, except for a couple of teenage boys playing tennis - clearly we breed tough tennis players in Glasgow, rain doesn't stop play here!
