Split

Not sure what happened to this tree, but I'm glad I wasn't around when it cracked!
Went for a stroll in Pollok Park tonight, and was struck by the lack of flowers. Spring time is obviously the time to see colour there. It had rained all day, and the sky was still very dark, so with all the tree cover, it was pretty gloomy. This tree had obviously come crashing down very recently, as there were broken branches on the other side of the path.
