A variety of whizzing-past buses as we had a light dinner after seeing the Golden Globe winning movie I’m Still Here at the cinema.

A powerful film giving us insight into the brutal reality of the Brazilian dictatorship of the 1970s, juxtaposed with the wonderful Carioca lifestyle of a well off family in Urca at the time whose world was upended by the arrest and murder under torture of the architect head of family, Ruben Paiva. It took decades for the Brazilian state to acknowledge the fact and his body was never found.
