The twilight shining on a robin's red breast
I managed to put my camera on a monopod to take the weight, and pointed the lens at the garden. Not seeing much at first I went out to the cabin beside the patio which looks westwards towards Rodborough Common.
I sat in a chair looking towards the setting sun with the door wide open. This allows some birds to feel secure whilst I can watch them with ease.
Seeing this robin illuminated by the last rays of the sun seemed to be a good natural subject for a blip at the beginning of the year.
