It's a New Year and my orchid is flowering again

I've been struggling with an RSI injury to my wrist for some days. It came out of the blue and has meant I've been very limited with my movements. Lifting a camera was certainly out of the question at first.

This orchid sits across the room from my desk close to the window but out of direct sunlight. With the last light of the day I propped myself up and managed get this image. I've wanted to record the orchid's new flowers. It is the third time I've managed to get it to flower again after I'd bought it some years ago. I have three differing types of orchid and each seems to be happy to produce wholly new sets of flowers at different times, so it means I'm seldom without one of them in flower. It also seemed appropriate to record this new growth at the beginning of a New Year.
