Life through the lens...

By ValC

The sun coming up.

It took some time to defrost the car this morning. Very glad we have the heated windscreen and rear window, but still took longer than normal, and it was thick on the side windows.
Good job we gave ourselves plenty of time.
Our neighbour came to make sure we could get out onto the main road OK.
From then on the journey to Pinderfields Hospital went smoothly.

Must thank everyone who helped grit the M62 and all the main roads.
Also thanks to the hospital staff for clearing the hospital carpark and pavements.
Made it very easy to walk down to the Eye Hospital.
Although we got there early we didn’t have long to wait.
Back home by 10.15am So just a 2hour round trip.

Tomorrow it’s my turn with a visit to the Dermatology Department at Dewsbury Hospital. Not as far to drive and a later appointment at 4.15pm. So hopefully easier.

It has been freezing all day. No sun either.
Not looking forward to -10C temperature tonight!

Stay safe and warm everyone.
