Happy New Year!
A friend's last post of 2024 on FaceBook reads "Good night and good luck". It pretty much sums up how I feel as we head into 2025, but with the likes of Trump, Musk, and Farage looming large, we may need a bit more than luck...

We finally crept into bed just before 3.00am, so it was a late by the time we finally emerged this morning! Spent a pleasant day pottering, before going to Anita's for an evening of music, good food, wine, and good company.

Additional entertainment was provided by Jerry, who has a thing about footwear. Many of us left our shoes or boots by the door on entering the house, and Jerry seemed to like carrying them around! She's licking her lips as she was bribed to pose for photos - sausages, yum!
