Green Shoots

These are snowdrop shoots just beginning to pop out of the soil. They come from the garden of our friend Hazel, who now lives in a local care home. When her family were about to put her house on the market, they asked her friends if we would like anything from it. Mary and I said could we have some bulbs from the front garden, and Mary dug these up for me. I’m really pleased to see them starting to put in an appearance, especially as they’re still in a pot waiting for me to choose a good spot in my garden.
