Not my best decision

I had to go to Droitwich today to collect my shoe insert from the Foot Clinic. I had a hip replacement almost three years ago which left my operated leg longer than the other so I use a lift inside my one shoe. The Biomechanical Specialist I see didn’t tell me that his new amazing insert that’s made in the USA would cost me £158 !! When I saw it I thought no way is that going to fit in my shoe but amazingly it did & it seems very comfortable, time will tell I guess.
I then made the wrong decision by going to sit in a cold wet bird hide at Upton Warren for two hours waiting for something to happen - nothing did! It had been bright sunshine when I left home but it clouded over & rained heavily so I sat it out & eventually the sun returned but as the long tailed tits we’re as exciting as it got I went across the road to Webb’s for a hot chocolate & a mooch through their sale.
I had called L to ask if she wanted to come to the hide with me but she had arranged to go into Kidderminster, she definitely made the right decision.
