Our only snow
We're in this little gap between the snow to the north and the south, just hitting the higher ground.
Extra testing out a new 2x teleconverter that arrived today - wanted one for ages, and while my 200-500 lens will only work with it fully manual, that 1000mm reach is remarkable. Needs to be bright, and handheld is shaky (I was handholding for the moon!), but this is pretty much entirely for shooting Hares come spring and summer when I'll be hiding inside the car on our track, or out early in a hide seat with a tripod, and fingers crossed for this year's Cuckoos from what will be an upgraded viewing platform at the bottom of our barn.
Won a Nikon FE SLR in an auction down south today as well, which I'm chuffed with - the intention being to try and do some film wildlife photography, given I've got the lenses already there for the dSLR.
