A fresh morning, I walked up to the town to fetch the papers. Mum has the i newspaper for which I have vouchers. I have been known to forget the voucher exchange.
Drove down to CK. Mum was still in bed. Obviously had a good sleep, but "stuff" all over the place so she's obviously been out of bed after the carers left. Pants very neatly folded inside her glasses case. Felt pens in the other glasses case. Love her!! Breakfast done. Walked Indie with the intention of snapping this Moss. In visiting this area of the heath we unfortunately disturbed 3 roe deer, I think an adult female & 2 young but I'm not certain. They jumped the stock fence which has 2 strands of barbed wire. I shouted to Indie to stop. It hurt my throat, but she stopped thankfully. I hope the deer weren't injured in their escape. The stock fence must be approximately 4' high.
Mum & I had coffee then spent an hour on the jigsaw while dinner was cooking. Counted 11 longtail tits on the fat ball & peanut feeders in Mum's garden. Such sweet birds. We also get a solitary Coal tit, plus Blue tits, Blackbirds, Robins, Sparrows, Dunnocks, Wood pigeon, magpie, & a pair of Collared doves regularly visit her garden, they give her so much pleasure.
Back home, lunch with hubby, then a bit of admin.
Lunch date cancelled tomorrow as weather forecast is'nt great.
Had a pleasant surprise email from Ernie.. £100 on my premium bond. Kerching!
I rang Mifsuds to enquire about a new Panasonic Lumix. My model has'nt been made for about 10 years apparently. The latest model has'nt arrived but I had a good chat & a laugh with Matthew, left my name & phone number so he can give me a call when it does arrive. I'd quite like a trip to Brixham. :-) I'd quite like a new camera.
Just watched Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild. I can relate to that, gives me itchy feet.

I'm getting into my new read, Butter by Asako Yuzuki. A couple of chapters before bed I think.
