Day 8

Still working with the paintings in my concertina sketch book, adding some oil sticks.  i'm loving adding these later on, and then cropping into small areas that i like.  Not sure how these will influence the bigger paintings i make, but i'm noticing that what i seem to be responding a lot to is the clean white space left!

It was a great day all in all....my back feels more and more 'normal' altho after an hours walk, while chatting with my west coast daughters - which is always such a treat, and then an hour clean the Chalet cabin in preparation for closing it down, it did feel a bit unhappy.   ice and heat while reading helped that a lot.

Then a lovely chat with my dear friend Lynne in Toronto and planning her winter trip out here....early February!!!  can't wait!
