Day 7

So today i am just practising.....having been watching the artists on the Cold Wax Academy site, one of the very strong suggestions is to just practise how you use your tools.   I learned sooo much today i tell you!   so worth joining again, on a monthly basis.  so the emphasis here is on how to use the squeegee properly, i wasn't using it well at all! 

These are not colours i am very much drawn to on their own, but i wanted to do the practises he was showing ..... and i decided to use up some of the paint tubes i don't seem to use very often.   So just black, white (which i use a lot of) and yellow ochre......i do use these colours but usually in combination with others.  I wanted to keep these exercises simple.

The storm that has been predicted has started....we'll see how accurate they are :)
