The sun before the snow
My parents got married on 3 January 1959, in New Oakley, Fife. Their marriage did not last long in any conventional sense, but I remember them both on this day. My mother is still alive but has advanced dementia, and my father died in Mexico in 2001 aged 70. I have five 'full blood' siblings, and many halves, but only of two of them are known to the rest of us. I hope to meet one of them one day.
Anyway, I digress. I was thinking about getting an iPhone for my next phone, so I walked across town to a shop to ask some questions about my contract. The sun was shining on this fantastic building on my return. The former Greyhound pub is now Galgos restaurant, serving Venezuelan cuisine. Galgos is the Spanish/Venezuelan word for greyhound.
On reaching home, I found that there were no longer any iPhones left in the model or colour I wanted, from the retailer of my choice! Earlier, there had been three.
Pause for a reset, while I wasted the rest of the day looking at other completely different types of phone.
Did anyone say ADHD? I'm good at pointless but detailed research.
