Bright and Breezy

The day dawned bright and sunny. How uplifting it felt. We walked along the shore at Prinsted. The sea was out exposing the mud flats on which flocks of Brent geese and red shanks were feeding.

On our homeward loop we passed this large tree from which a group of crows were loudly calling. You may be able to spot them in the crown of the tree.

Otherwise today I’ve made coleslaw and hummus. Andy made green vegetable soup. I’ve spread more wood chip at the allotment and together we walked Merlin this afternoon - just a street walk as the meadow is waterlogged.

It’s forecast to be overcast tomorrow so perhaps I’ll be compelled to do more indoor tasks.
