Hall window

This is my upstairs hall window seen as I came home this afternoon.

You can see three more amaryllis plants in flower there and a metal sculpture of a gardener.

I was busy here this morning. My cleaner did not show again so I did some quick hoovering. I’ve been sorting out my travel insurance to include Namibia and my camera insurance. All time consuming and tedious but necessary.

Margret had an appointment with the Plastic Surgeon and phoned to say the clinic was running an hour early. Yes, early. I did not think I would make it in time, but I did! He is delighted with the wound and says she can shower before the dressing on alternate days.

Tomorrow Margret moves to a Nursing Home. She had lots of queries about the move and worries that things won’t go according to plan. I’ve arranged with some other friends to go to the hospital and help with packing her things ready for the move. Hopefully all will go smoothly.

It’s been cold and icy here today.
