Pining
We made our way back over to the Hermitage this morning with 5 other members of the local Tryst walking group to do the Inver Walk and Pine Cone Point, Dunkeld (Walkhighlands) walk I was leading (and for which we did the recce for on the 28th).
It was cold but dry with bright blue skies to start with and we could see the snow coming into Pitlochry when we were at Pine Cone Point but fortunately it didn't come our way. The path was icy in sections and I slipped and landed flat on my back - or as flat as you can wearing a rucksack ! However it broke my fall and no harm was done.
We also spotted a fair amount of hair ice which I always like to see.
It was good to get out and I am pleased to have achieved my objective of a longer walk this week. I even did some yin-yoga post-walk stretches when I got back - and its only Tuesday !
