R.H.S. Rosemoor

Message from Sue this morning for a trip to R.H.S Rosemoor got a yes please from me. It was cold, but a coffee when we arrived set us for our first wander around the gardens this year. Staff were busy hedge trimming. First thing we spotted was the sad sight of the old oak tree which had come down with the winds (see extras). It had been cordoned off.  One of the gardeners told us that the hope is that it will recover. I do hope so.

There were some beautiful reflections in the lake of the surrounding trees.  I decided to make the stream that feeds into the lake my blip for today. Birds were in full song and busy around the feeders, but even the robins were fluffed up as it was chilly.
