Mono Monday - New

The day started bright but chilly. After breakfast, I decided as there was rain forecast for later today (which hasn't happened yet) to do a bit of tidying up in the courtyard flowerbed area as the green bin is due to be emptied and washed this week. Also I hadn't finished dead heading the sedums, and it was when I was doing that I spotted the new growth, so there should be a good display again this year.  I know the image is not as good as it should be, but thought as new is today's mono suggestion I would post this one.
