Tuesday
We had a bit of snow overnight so this morning's walk was marginally more interesting than usual.
And I looked in at the cemetery. Occasionally, I go and see Joe Hayward's grave and remind myself of how lucky I am.
Joe went to school with my daughter. I had a baby six months after Dot had each of her three so there was always a Hayward child around. His grave is beautiful.
By the London Road bridge, I met a man who feeds crows daily. We had a conversation and I told him I also feed crows but at Caen Hill. I had to put Hetty in her lead because these crows were being fed roast beef chopped up and she was eager to join in.
I chatted to a neighbour, Rowena. Her husband has pneumonia and is in Bath RUH. Apparently they had flu jabs and Tom went on to get actual flu and now it's pneumonia. He's been in hospital since Friday. They seem an active couple so I hope he recovers soon.
It's a beautiful day!
