When the big black bird was screeching at me for food the other day, I switched on my Merlin app. It's been identified as a crow so that's that guessing game over.

It outwitted me today. I tried to get a close up photo so hid below a fence but it could see the top of my head so didn't take the food I had placed. I gave up sooner than it did.

The locks are scheduled for work in early 2025 so equipment is being delivered. I noticed bankside trees and bushes being removed last week.

Very chilly walk this morning. Bright and sunny afternoon.
