It's all over now

Today being twelfth night, much of my afternoon and all of my evening has been occupied with taking down Christmas decorations. Walking the woofer at 21.30, the street was dull as neighbours have removed, or at least not switched on, the festive lights that have lit our road so prettily for the last few weeks. Christmas is packed away for another year as we all get on with the drear that is January.
