After the storm
There will always be blue skies. It might take a day or two for the clouds to move on but the blue skies are for sure!
We had wicked strong winds this morning as the sun came up with heavy rain but it moved out quickly. Not too bad temperature wise but the air says it will be cold tonight as the wind is still blowing but gently.
Many people don’t like winter, cold weather or January. January is the time to be idle and bored. Time to be lazy, read books, drink hot chocolate, eat soup and snuggle in your favorite sweatshirt or blankie. Pull on warm fluffy socks.
Do nothing. Or watch birds at the feeder. Notice leaves falling.
Breathe.
Here in South Carolina living is easy. Not so much elsewhere.
Keep those people in the Appalachia Mountains in your hearts as they deal with snow, wind and extreme cold. As well as still recovering from Hurricane Helene for over three months.
Millions are dealing with major snow in the Midwest. Snow happens more often than not here but not as extreme as what has happened in the last couple days.
Blue skies will return.
