Crocus sublimis

I didn't venture far from the house today, just a walk down to and along the seafront with Meg.   Cold and bright then but a biting wind.   Showers of rain and hail came along later.  Not feeling great, I retired to the sofa with the dogs after lunch, rising only to feed us all.   Hopefully resting will help fight off whatever it is, I am booked to take Ruth to two hospital appointments on Wednesday and Thursday but Birmingham feels a long way tonight.

The crocus, raised from seed sown back in Norfolk in 2017, is in a small pot which I brought into the porch where the flower opened for a while.
