Staircase

The central staircase in the Law School is sufficiently photogenic that it bears repeating as a blip. This time, it's taken from the ground floor looking up, using the wide angle lens on the phone. Previously, I've mainly gone for closer shots.

There's not a lot to photograph in Edinburgh on a cold although not too dark day. I saw hints of light in the sky. Looking at social media, and the news, I am awfully glad that we aren't sitting in Tain this evening figuring out whether it will be possible to get back tomorrow. It may well be, but the anxiety would be killing me, because it would have been a horrible drive today between Inverness and Perth. As it is, I rearranged my week so that I've got a rather interesting assignment tomorrow followed by the possibility of going to the Turners in the afternoon.

For the rest, I'm also glad that I chose to go in to work today. I probably got more done, and certainly had more human engagement, than I would have done at the desk in my study at home. Cycling in and out proved to be a pleasure and not a risk.
