Coffee sustained me this morning until I got to the airport at 9:30. I have to fly out next week and I'd heard there were some changes to carry on luggage rules. I thought I'd best ask before my departure so as not to have issues then.
I'm always impressed to see most of the parking area covered by solar panels. In my opinion, every building and parking lot should have them. Afterall, Yuma is the sunniest place!
Staff on the American Airlines desk were helpful. I fitted my bag I'm taking into the luggage gauge and was reassured that the airport would be open for 5:30 AM the morning I'm to fly away.
I made it worth my while to enjoy some breakfast at the restaurant inside the airport. I know they will validate my parking ticket so there will be no payment required from me as I exit. It is an entertaining spot with big screen televisions at all angles.
The last hurdle at the airport is the exit to the highway. The parking ticket is the key. I see by the sign that no parking ticket means a fee of $350 so one does NOT lose it! I will have to negotiate this in the dark the next time I am here and will need to be sure I don't lose this precious thing over the days I am away.
I'm in for the day. I will try some experiments with paint.
