My feathered friends came
for a backyard visit so
I could take photos

Coffee was 7:30 this morning enjoyed while I dealt with email and waited for the sun to come up. 

I sat outside my back door to see who was flitting in and out of my yard this morning once the sun had arrived. I was delighted to be able to catch a hummingbird on the top of my orange tree. An Inca dove sat on the brick fence for a very long time. My favourite, the mockingbird, turned up to scout around the trees and the yard. The rather annoying woodpecker scoured the desert willow tree. 

I'm off on errands this morning. I feel the need for some more art supplies, then I should be able to score my favourite hamburger before returning home.
