Our house with snow on the lawn.

The Feast Day of Saint Andre of Montreal. Born 1845. Canada. Died 1937. Canada. Patron Saint of Caregivers, the sick and healers.
His status was Healer and porter to the Congregation of the Holy Cross.

The morning was beautiful, 1c and some of the snow has melted but patches of it remain around the garden and front of the Close.

There is a clear blue sky in places and the garden birds have been eating from a saucer today, from seeds, nuts, bread and mealworms. The lawn is swampy and unable to walk on it I fed the birds near the raised wall. Blackbirds, starlings and pigeons visited the garden. Hunter watched avidly. I hope everyone remains safe in the difficult snow and on hazardous roads. Gritters have been out and the recycling team emptied our card and paper recycling bin this morning.
