The visit of the Wise men to Jesus.

The Feast of the Holy Epiphany.

The Epiphany is the manifestation of baby Jesus to the Wisemen.

Various theologians will no doubt have much more in depth insights and that is as it should be. I know people are now of the view, in some cases, that Christ was born in the Spring in Bethlehem, when lambs are traditionally born on farms, but it gets contentious and peace is compromised if we get into that kind of debate. I try to be humbly conscious of the Divine Presence everyday and be careful not to tread the path where fragmentation lies. Seeking truth is important nonetheless.

What a wonderful landscape greeted us with pure snow and birds in the garden invisible when I first looked out. Then many starlings appeared in the rowan tree, blackbirds appeared and a robin.
I fed the garden birds, had breakfast and I am reconciled to staying indoors. I tend to veer in the direction of safety and I hope no one falls.
