Amaryllis

This is the second bloom stalk on this amaryllis. I bought it in November, but with moving I didn't get it planted till December. One bloom stalk had already started growing in the bag. I have a dark red one that will be blooming in a couple of weeks, it just started growing this week.

It has been a cold and windy day, the high temperature this afternoon was -7 C and with the wind it felt like -15 C. Temperatures tomorrow are supposed to be back to normal. 

I went to brunch this morning. It was too cold to spend any time outside and I may need to get the heater in my truck checked. It takes a long time before it sends out warm air. When I take the truck in on Tuesday, I am going to leave them a list of things to check and if they can fix them, I will get them done. The heater, a broken tail light, the back up camera and the remote start all need to be checked.
