It Snowed

Even the conservatory door wouldn't open as the snow was piled up against it, it took a really hefty push to get it open enough to squeeze through so it could be cleared. The car was covered and still has an awful lot on the roof and down the Window and bonnet. We decided not to venture out today, and maybe tomorrow will be the same as there is a definite chance of very icy roads tonight.

The snow changed to rain late afternoon and it's still raining. We keep hearing the occasional thump which is the snow on the roof melting and sliding off, bit like olden times when we were kids and it used to slide off grandmas roof, especially if it was hanging over the edge and you slammed the door, then ran like mad. Memories lol

So today was a day of not doing too much (good excuse) although I did clean my hob and washed down all the cupboard doors in the kitchen, then sat and watched TV catching up with programmes (Emmerdale actually) I had recorded.

Will see what tomorrow brings, I bet loads of schools will be closed,
