Snow!

We had our first considerable snowfall during the night so we woke up to a white world. We had a rough night, but we pushed through.

We had church this morning, and got a lift there and back with our friends, Angela and Tuin. It was the last time crèche was running as normal, so Little Man's last time there. From next week, parents are responsible for their toddlers. It'll mean that I'll probably miss out on the sermons as I'll be with Little Man. I don't understand why they've done it.

Anyway, my life group was serving the tea and coffee after the service. Caleb picked up Little Man from crèche so I could help. Since Angela and Tuin aren't in my life group, but they were giving us a lift home, I told them to just let me know when they wanted to leave.

We had a quiet afternoon at home. I brought a good amount of wood in soon after we got home. I've got a lot of wood that needs to dry before I can use it. It's been standing in a wooden crate outside. I don't want to finish all the dry wood I have and then end up with only wet wood (which won't be of much use). So I decided to bring in the wet wood and let it dry out next to the stove, before I use it. Hopefully I'll have enough wood to get me through the winter.
