Angels from Africa!
Today has been so much warmer…up tom12C compared to yesterday when it was 1-4C. However we have had lots of rain too.
These are two angels made from intricate beadwork which I bought in Botswana on a fantastic trip there in 2016. Because we didn’t see many places to buy souvenirs of any kind when we got to the airport I was pleased to buy these from a lady selling outside the airport. As we have two small Christmas trees we have one on the top of each. I have taken them down plus all the other things round the house and am having a rest before tackling the larger tree and all the Christmas cards.
We had lovely roast beef for lunch and the family came over. The children helped with gathering up some of the Christmas decorations before they left. They particularly like the animated musical ‘toys’ ( dancing and singing Christmas trees, Santas etc) which have to have the batteries removed.
Hoping to watch the new series of pottery throw down tonight.
Last night I liked the new series of North Shore.
