Snowfall
Lying snow is a rare event in my part of the world, so it is always a surprise to wake up to a white world as I did this morning. I have an almost child-like reaction, these days exhibited by immediately taking photos as if I’ve never seen the white stuff before. It is now raining and slowly thawing, I expect there will be no snow left here tomorrow.
Later morning entering the bedroom I noticed seven wood pigeons on top of the ivy clad fence. They absolutely love Ivy berries, looking really ungainly as they try to pick them off.
And ….. thank you for all the comments, stars and hearts on my blip day yesterday, and indeed on New Years Day. It’s appreciated. Blipping a daily photograph has become a habit with me, and one I enjoy. It provides a bit of focus to each day. I also enjoy looking at your images and journals, it’s interesting and often entertaining.
