A crown of starlings

Very cold today with a beautiful frost. Spent a couple of hours finishing a book, got a lot of jobs done and watched a film with D. While out on my walk, hundreds of starlings flew overhead. This tree on the far side of the church was full of even more of them (and an undercover magpie).
