A new banner made its debut in the Kop at Valley Parade - a fan-led tribute to former Bradford City captain Stephen Darby as he battles on against Motor Neurone Disease. 

City continued their good seasonal form with a fourth consecutive home win (although I missed the two over Christmas). A comfortable 3-1 victory over Grimsby Town saw them consolidate a position in the group of clubs chasing promotion, although Walsall remain many points clear of the pack at top of the league.
