Siam Santa

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Today is the last day of my Xmas holidays and I have seen them out in much the same way I have celebrated this entire period. 

With extreme inactivity.

To be fair, part of this is due to my financial plan. Not working for 2 weeks has depleted our savings, already depleted by repairing the cat. 

And sitting on my bum costs NOTHING. So I'm happy to make my contribution to the spending plan. 

Instead I made BLT bagels for me and Caro. We watched "Grand Designs" followed by "Greg Davies: You Magnificent Beast".

We had seen it before, but it made Caro laugh until she cried (again). Actually we've watched a lot of stand-up concerts over Xmas. It's just something we nearly always do. This year we've seen Jason Manford's special, Michael McIntyre's and Kevin Bridges. 

After that there was crime programmes and some naps. It has all been very relaxing.

And one last piece of Xmas business to wrap up. Before Fazzy went to Thailand for Xmas, Hani had coyly asked if Santa knew where they were going to be. Just to be sure he didn't miss them out, of course.

So I bought them some small gifts. Fazzy did not take them with her, due to filling her bags to capacity with other kid stuff, so they got to celebrate Xmas all over again when they opened "Santa's" gifts back at home.

I don't know if the kids knew it was me. I told Fazzy not to tell them. But she sent me this picture and it made my belly wobble like a big bowl of jelly.
