Music box

I thought I would do a blip of the top of my Japanese style music box that I bought in the charity shop the other week. I do like Japanese style items and, although this isn't the best quality, I think it's quite attractive. Inside there's a ballerina (I remember coveting one of these jewellery boxes as a child) who spins round to the tune "A time for us". I think this was from the 1968 Romeo and Juliet film. I remember Andy William's version of it. I always thought he was a really good ballad singer, the sort you don't get any more....although I do like a lot of recent music too. In fact, I like most types of music these days. I think the Bee Gees will always be my absolute favourites though. What sort of music do you like most?

Anyway, I digress! Off to the hairdresser's this afternoon. I think I'm going to have a fair bit of length taken off my hair - I seem to be gradually being able to face having it cut shorter. I grew it really long (by my standards) but it took about 5 years to get it to that length. Part of me wants to have it cut really short again, but it's too radical at the moment. I just think of all the horrible growing stages I had to go through to get it long, and if I regret it, I'd have to do it all again....:-( It's not in good condition at the moment, but it's only noticeable when you look really closely. I'll get my roots re-done as well.
