Garden

Got the washing pegged out since it wasn't raining (or snowing) and there was a bit of a breeze. I considered going for a walk but didn't fancy it so I took some of the remaining outdoor Christmas lights down and terry took the last set down. Put the nativity set away. That's it now - the lot just needs to go in the loft.
I noticed a lot of twigs and branches around the garden so I gathered some up and I crouched down in an awkward position to try to pick one up from under a shrub, which meant a stretch and a lean - fell back on my bottom on the chippings! Dope. Anyway, it was a good position to retrieve the small branches so I did that before getting back up!
I thought there were a few twigs and small branches but the more you looked the more you found so it took longer than expected. There were a few leaves to sweep up as well (probably blow in from the ones remaining on the avenue or in people's gardens) and then I cut a shrub back which had been still flowering up till recently.
I noticed a few crocuses with colour on them but not open and lots of things have buds on.
Had a nap this afternoon as didn't sleep well last night.
We had curried (Jalfrezi type) smoked gammon for tea with pilau rice  (the smoked gammon is the joint we cooked on New Years Day) and it was delicious.
