Our day in Gran Canaria.
Woke up early enough to watch the ship getting closer and closer to the island. This morning we did a brilliant organised trip. Our first stop was the incredible Maspalomas sand dunes. I visited here about 30 years ago and it’s still as stunning.
Then the coach took us right to the south of the island to the beautiful village of Morgan - or ‘Little Venice’. Such a lovely place to wander and sit and chill by the harbour.
This afternoon we walked to Playa de Las Canteras - about a mile from the port. There were some brilliant sand sculptures on the beach. Now lazing in the cabin a tad weary after walking over 17,000 steps - that was a good test on JPs new knee!
